Serisha Neerachand

Qualified Podiatrist

Serisha Neerachand is a qualified podiatrist since graduating from the University of Johannesburg in 2007. Having practiced in Johannesburg for the past ten years, she is now expanding her practice to  KwaZulu Natal.

The reason behind her move is the opportunity to serve a larger community in KwaZulu Natal, where there is a lack of podiatry services.

But why do you need to see a podiatrist, some may ask? Well, a podiatrist is an Allied Healthcare professional registered with the health professions council of South Africa. Podiatrists are trained to diagnose, prevent and rehabiliate by medical and surgical means conditions of the foot and lower limbs.

Serisha specialises in treating patients with diabetes, children, biomechanics as well as patients who require specific footwear and socks.

Using her state of the art computerised Gait Analysis System, Serisha identifies and corrects gait problems thus ensuring proper offloading in diabetic patients and relief from painful heels and spurs.

Dr. Hardus de Beer

Chiropractor - D.C., M.C.A.S.A., M.Tech: Chiropractic (SA), C4K Chiropractic Paediatrics (Aus)

A passionate chiropractor who loves seeing his patients improve and function the way they were designed to. Often our joints get "molded" out of alignment by poor posture, bad habits, falls, car accidents, birth trauma as well as sports/gym injuries. This results in pain, stiffness, tightness, discomfort of varying degrees and decreased ability to adapt. Chiropractic may help to adjust the joints into their correct position to allow improved mobility, decrease in pain and better adaptability and functionality. Resetting the joints helps to resets the nervous system to function in a more balanced way.

Common conditions that chiropractic may help with are:
Infant Colic & Reflux
Restless & Unhappy Babies
Neck & Lower Back Pain
Pins & Needles, Numbness
Joint pain & Arthritis
Sports Injuries

Much like our vehicles are taken in for servicing every 15-20000km (whether there is a problem or not), our bodies need "servicing" in order to increase one's chances to prevent any future problems.

Dr. de Beer has been in practice since July 2013, owning his own practice in Ballito since 2015. He joined IMF Medical Center in order to help add his skill set to those of the other very competent medical and alternate medical professionals, to be an asset to the IMF brand, and to serve the need of the greater North Coast area. He wants to help patients live their best life. Read his story on his website - www.backtolifechiro.co.za
